· Rapid and noninvasive detection of diseased internal organs

· Estimation on a percentage scale of the pathological process activity within particular organs

· Monitoring of the course of diseases as well as early estimation of the efficacy of treatment

· Individual verification of optimal skin zones for reflexive therapies

Groundbreaking bioelectronic system for organ electrodermal diagnostics (OED)

The DIAGNOTRONICS device is the result of 20 years of intensive academic research. It was officially launched in the South African Parliament in Cape Town on the 14th of June 2004: the development of the OED technology was completed with the financial support of the South African Government (SPII Programme), as an initiative to improve the general public health, prolong life expectancy and create new job opportunities. The OED technology is the first of this kind to receive CE certification as a reliable medical device (both clinically and technically) and to be licensed by the South African Department of Health. OED is patented in 33 countries.

The OED device utilizes the electrical “breakthrough effect” of the skin to estimate the extent of the diode phenomenon in skin areas corresponding to particular internal organs. In this way OED identifies diseased internal organs and estimates the intensity of pathological processes within these organs: the science behind OED is comprehensively explained in an animated lecture included in the device software.
